There is little doubt that Joshua of SEVENTEEN is one of the most talented idols in the industry today. In addition to being an excellent vocalist, Joshua Hong is an amazing dancer and is a gifted guitarist. However, it looks like Hong Jisoo has one unexpected talent that none of the other members of SVT or their fans have expected. Interesting, this simple skill has proven to be truly useful in the latest installment of IF Seventeen.
The current installment of IF Seventeen is called SEVENTEEN The Battle of Burgers and it features four members having to cook a burger that would please Joshua. Each member has been assigned a certain ingredient: squid for Mingyu, beef for Woozi, shrimp for Seungkwan, and chicken for Vernon. Needless to say, it's a funny challenge considering that three of the idols are not confident with their cooking while the group's resident chef Kim Mingyu has to deal with an ingredient he isn't familiar with.
For now, the results for the IF Seventeen challenge has not yet been revealed. However, the official SEVENTEEN YouTube channel has uploaded an IF CLIP which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the cooking show. Although Joshua is supposed to be the judge in the game, he is also actively helping his dongsaengs with their task. Hong Jisoo took this to another level when the younger members were having trouble opening jars.
The first member to ask for Joshua's help is Vernon, who struggled to open a jar of pickles. After a few attempts, he approaches his hyung, who found the jar too difficult to open. However, Joshua Hong had a cool strategy: he put on a glove and easily removed the lid. Needless to say, Chwe Hansol was impressed with the strategy.
When it was time to open a jar of olives, Vernon once again struggled but was unable to do it. However, instead of asking for Joshua's help, the rapper tried to take the matter into his own hands and tried his hyung's strategy. Unfortunately, Chwe Hansol still didn't have the strength to remove the lid. Once again, Hong Jisoo used the same technique and easily uncapped the jar.
Vernon was not the only SEVENTEEN member who needed help with the jars. Seungkwan also failed to uncap a jar of pickles. Luckily, Joshua was nearby to help him with the jar. Needless to say. this is one awesome talent that can be used in the kitchen.
