Last week, Queen Elizabeth II moved from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle. As the number of COVID-19 cases in the United Kingdom continues to soar high, officials have been forced to impose a lockdown. Also, high-risk individuals, notably, senior citizens are asked to self-isolate amid the crisis.

As of the time of writing, the UK has a total of 8,077 confirmed cases with 422 deaths. Many are also said to expect that the figures will continue to rise in the coming days. Accordingly, it is not surprising why Prince Philip, later on, joined his wife in Berkshire to wait out the virus outbreak.

According to Express UK, Queen Elizabeth II has been taking "drastic measures" in order to keep her and her husband safe from the virus. Aside from moving out of the London Palace, it was said that the royal aides and staff inside the Windsor Castle has been also reduced from 100 to eight. This set of individuals were noted to be the ones that the Queen trusted the most.

The publication named two of these eight people. Based on claims, these are the monarch's dressmaker and adviser, Angela Kelly and Page of the Blackstairs, Paul Whybrew.

Some sources revealed that Queen Elizabeth II "couldn't do" without these two individuals by her side. So, they always come with her at all times.

New Idea magazine said that Paul is the Queen's most trusted and "favored" footman. He is also known as "Tall Paul," a nickname he reportedly received a few years back due to his height. It was also noted that this was partly because of his former colleague, the now-popular Paul Burrell, who used to have the opposing nickname of "Little Paul."

The same publication then said that Paul Whybrew gained the trust of the monarch due to his character. Some reports even claimed that Queen Elizabeth II sometimes invite Paul over to "sit down" and watch TV with her.

Aside from the limited royal aides and Prince Philip, the Queen will reportedly not see her family members until the outbreak ends. Even so, recent claims attested that a video call system designed for the royals will soon be available inside the Windsor Castle for a more effective and efficient communications system among the Royal Family members and government officials.

As for the length of her and her husband's stay in Berkshire, no further updates have been given yet. But, there were sources who reportedly revealed that the Queen and her Consort will likely their birthdays in the Castle.
