It has been weeks since COVID-19 first emerged in the United Kingdom. But, it was only recently when the British Royal Family members decided to self-isolate in their respective homes.

Earlier this month, Queen Elizabeth II was found at the gates of Windsor Castle. It was assumed that she went to her Berkshire property to follow what the health officials advised, especially for senior citizens. However, she was seen back again in London to continue her duties and responsibilities.

The same was also true for Prince Philip as he stayed in Sandringham amid the increasing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country. A week after, though, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the head of the British Royal Family, as well as his Consort, will stay in Windsor Castle starting last Thursday to prevent the risk of contracting the virus.

It remains unknown when she will be back in London. Even so, she was said to continue working despite staying far away from the Palace.

As of today, the United Kingdom has a total of 5,018 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 233 deaths. Amid the unfortunate trend, The Telegraph shared that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a statement that the country can "turn tide" in 12 weeks.

He cleared out, though, that this does not mean that, by the end of June, the country will already be on a "downward slope" in terms of the COVID-19 cases. The UK leader then said that he instead believes that it is going to be "finite."

In a report released by Cheat Sheet, most of the royals' engagements and events in the next few weeks have been either postponed or cancelled already. These include Princess Beatrice's wedding reception inside Buckingham Palace.

The Queen and his consort's move to Berkshire was then followed by reports that Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla have been also practicing self-isolation inside the Clarence House. However, the Heir Apparent has remained quite active in his engagements as per claims.

Nevertheless, recent headlines revealed that he has already set up a virtual workaround inside the property, and only a few key staff members have been asked to work with him closely.

In the same report, sources also shared that the British Royal Family's future King and Queen Consort, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been staying in with their three kids. They were said to "home school" the three young royals.

The Duke and Duchess have met criticisms lately after their recent visit to NHS' call center in Croydon. Some fans and supporters reportedly called out the royal couple for allegedly "ignoring" the imposed social distancing toward the public. But, reports noted that they were able to show the British Royal Family's support toward the staff and workers of the NHS who are "tirelessly working" at the frontlines.
