Ex-couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are reportedly dating again. The High School Musical co-stars allegedly hanged out recently again after Hudgens broke up with her boyfriend Austin Butler earlier this year.
OK! claimed Efron and Hudgens have started to talk again when the latter started to have problems with Butler last fall. The tabloid claimed Hudgens and Efron were going on "low-key dates."
Gossip Cop, however, debunked the rumor about Efron and Hudgens dating again. It is true that the actress was spotted out on a date in January but it wasn't with Efron. It was Lakers player, Kyle Kuzma.
Vanessa and Austin ended their eight-year relationship in January. The two have yet to reveal the reason for their break up. Fans, however, speculate that it could be due to their long-distance relationship.
In an interview with the Cosmopolitan UK earlier this year, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island actress opened up about her relationship with Butler. She admitted that it was difficult not seeing the actor often.
"The longest we've been apart was four months. It sucks! You start hating hearing yourself say 'I miss you.' But if it's your person, you make it work," she said.
That was not the first time Hudgens mentioned her disapproval about long-distance relationships. Back in March 2017, she shared a photo of her and Butler and wrote in the caption how she misses her boyfriend. The actor at the time was filming MTV's The Shannara Chronicles in New Zealand.
Now, OK! alleged Efron and Hudgens have reconnected even before the actress and Butler broke up. If this is true, it could mean Efron is dating two women at the same time as he is also currently hanging out with his Neighbors co-star Halston Sage.
The two started dating after Zac broke up with Danish swimmer, Sarah Bro. According to Us Weekly, Efron and Sage are in a serious relationship and are in love with each other. The couple also reportedly spent the holidays together.
Sage and Efron were first linked back in April 2014 when they were photographed watching a basketball game together. A couple of months later, Zac was single again. The two appeared to have rekindled their romance in January.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop also earlier debunked rumors linking Efron to the Hudgens-Butler split. NW earlier alleged that the Second Act actress dumped Butler because of Zac. A source of the tabloid claimed after The Greatest Showman actor had a health scare, Hudgens realized that she wanted to be with her ex-boyfriend.
