Prince Charles is currently self-isolating in his Scottish country home in Birkhall. After he tested positive for COVID-19, the Prince of Wales has been staying in a separate room from his wife, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall, who tested negative.

According to Vanity Fair, there are only two people caring for Prince Charles until he recovers from coronavirus. The limited number is necessary so that he won't pass the virus to someone else. Sources said, however, that even as the heir to the throne is in "complete isolation," he remains in good spirits.

Prince Charles apparently remains busy at his home office and is still conducting online meetings with his staff even if he is self-isolating. He wants to be updated on what is happening around the world and in the Duchy of Cornwall.

The pandemic is expected to affect the livelihood of Cornwall's commercial and agricultural tenants. Thus, the duchy is apparently preparing its cash assistance and a potential rent deferral arrangement with its residents.

This is what's keeping Prince Charles busy as he meets online with his staff. A source said that he is very mindful of how much this crisis will affect thousands of Cornwall tenants.

His Royal Highness is also in touch with his Prince's Trust Foundation, specifically to extend help to those in the rural areas. The Prince of Wales has also written letters from his digital office to his charities and patronage to assure them of his support in this public health crisis.

A friend of Prince Charles told Daily Express that he is still very much engaged with what's happening in the U.K. David Miliband was able to speak to the royal a few days after his diagnosis and it was Prince Charles who reassured him to keep calm and carry on. Apparently, the virus is not interrupting his life in isolation.

Doctors said that Prince Charles is only exhibiting mild symptoms despite his age. At 71, he is considered vulnerable against the disease but hundreds of COVID-19 who are above 60 and 70 were able to recover.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles has spoken to his sons Prince William and Prince Harry. According to reports, he was able to video conference with his boys to update them on his condition.

Prince Harry apparently told his father that he could come home but Prince Charles told his second son he is safer out of London. The heir to throne also got to talk to his mother, Queen Elizabeth, who is in isolation in Windsor but is otherwise in good health.
