Aside from her amazing voice and incredible dancing skills, Rose garnered a lot of attention because of her good looks. Not only is she a part of one of the most successful girl groups in K-pop history, but her face, height, and figure could make her pass as a model. However, it appears that she may have some competition at the moment.
Rose’s doppelganger is Alissa Shin. But despite her undeniable resemblance with the BLACKPINK star, the Korean American social influencer from Los Angeles doesn’t see it at all.
“I personally do not believe that I look like her and I am not trying to either,” she said.
While most people would be flattered to be compared with a celebrity, Alissa Shin prefers to not be compared with Rose, especially because people were convinced that she’s trying to be like the BLACKPINK star. She also explained that she has nothing against Rose, but she would rather be just her own person and not be linked to anyone and hoped that people would not misunderstand her.
“Do not assume that I am changing my whole lifestyle/appearance to look like someone because I know that I am Alissa Shin, not Rose,” she shared. “I do not dislike Rose. I genuinely cannot feel a particular way about Rose as I do not know how much about her. So I hope you don’t misinterpret this.”
Alissa Shin noted that she’s fine with those who see her resemblance with Rose as a positive thing. But she shared that she’s not too pleased with those who had been leaving rude comments, claiming that she’s deliberately following the 23-year-old singer.
“If people are excited because they believe that I resemble their favorite idol, then I am genuinely glad,” Alissa Shin said. “If I found someone who's like my favorite celebrity, I would be ecstatic as well LOL I really do not mind if others tell me that they think I resemble her, but what I do mind is when people are being toxic and making false accusations.”

Meanwhile, Rose is certainly not the only K-pop idol who has a doppelganger. V has one as well, but his look-alike is also from the K-pop scene.
An idol by the name Kwon Hyeop has stolen a lot of hearts for looking so much like the BTS star. He is best known as the trainee who competed on Produce 101 Season 2, as a competitor from Maroo Entertainment.
