ARMYs would do anything to be in a romantic relationship with RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. While many now believe that BTS wouldn’t have a problem getting anyone that they want, they had their share of heartaches in the past like the rest of us.
In an earlier episode of Rookie King, J-Hope, Jimin, and V shared about their past love lives. J-Hope was up first and he confessed that his ex-girlfriend left him for another man. He shared that he accidentally turned on Dynamic Duo’s “Solo” on his way home after the breakup, which is why the song had a special place in his heart.
“I had a girlfriend that I liked a lot, but she left me for another man. With a really upset heart, I rode the bus,” J-Hope recalled. “ That time I owned an mp3 player and played it. After turning it on, by accident, this song started playing. This song was one of my memories. And so, my favorite song is Dynamic Duo’s ‘Solo.’”
Next up was Jimin. The BTS star shared that he didn’t really have a romantic relationship with anyone in the past as it was only a “one-sided love.”
“A really long time ago, I had a one-sided love,” he said. “When I look at her, my heart would… [stutter]. My face would go be as red as a tomato when we stood five meters apart. Just like a censor… those were my memories of it.”
Last, it was V’s turn. Just like Jimin, the BTS star said that he also had a one-sided love. He then talked about how he was ready to confess his feelings for the girl over the phone. Unfortunately, the weather ruined his plan.
“I had a one-sided love with a girl in the past. I wanted to confess to her via a phone call,” he shared. "But it was raining that day, because of that, she didn’t pick up the call. I was really sad. On my way home on the bus, this song suddenly played. That’s one of my memories.”
When asked if V just made up the story, he confirmed that it truly happened in the past. “My one-sided love is a true story,” he assured. “My one-sided love was real. And I didn’t imagine riding the bus while listening to this song.”
Meanwhile, RM also shared his heartbreak experience in a previous episode of Problematic Men. Just like his members, he also explained why his relationship with his ex-girlfriend didn’t work out.
