K-pop stars are not as liberated as Hollywood celebrities. Although a lot of male and female idols wear daring ensembles on stage, music videos, guest appearances, and more, they are usually very shy and reserved outside work.
So when V took to social media to ask ARMYs if he can post a picture of himself taking a shower in 2014, it understandably drove them into a frenzy. Since the BTS star wasn’t a minor anymore, fans were more than happy to let him post whatever he wanted at the time.
“I want to post a picture of me taking a shower. Is it okay?” V politely asked. (Check out the tweet here).
Fans were anticipating to see a photo of the BTS star wearing nothing but a towel — and they did. However, it wasn’t exactly what they had in mind.
Although V kept his promise when he posted a photo of himself fresh from the shower, the snap was more of a “cute time” than “sexy time” with ARMYs. The BTS star uploaded a picture of himself as a child wearing a towel and a headband that led fans to burst into UWUs. (Check out the tweet here).
But it seems like V is getting more confident with being sexy with ARMYs nowadays as he has been posting shirtless photos on social media. In fact, he recently caused quite a stir when he posted a blurry photo of himself without a shirt on. “Kim Taehyung really had to come for us like this?!” an ARMY wrote.
V then quickly deleted the snap, possibly realizing that it would be the cause of death of a lot of ARMYs. Or maybe Big Hit Entertainment and some of the BTS members told him that it was too sexy.
However, ARMYs remained optimistic, believing that it wouldn’t be the last shirtless photo of V. “Okay I know Taehyung will post another shirtless in the future again,” one fan shared.
Fortunately, ARMYs have already saved the photo before he deleted it, so it’s still making its rounds on the internet until now. “Funny how taehyung posted a shirtless selca and then deleted it after 30 seconds, fully knowing that thousands of people already have it saved and everyone is losing their marbles on all available platforms. he knows he created chaos and he's probably laughing right now,” one ARMY noted.
