WARNING: This article may have spoilers for Killing Eve season 2 finale. Read at your own risk.

Killing Eve season 3 is coming later this week on BBC America and many we're excited to see Eve Polastri and Villanelle back on the small screen. A lot of things happened in the previous season, with some initially thought Eve might be dead. It's interesting to see how she managed to stay alive, even after Villanelle shot her and left her for dead.

In Killing Eve season 3, Eve rebuilds her life and spends most of her time trying to recover. And as soon as she recovers, she will probably come into the same path as Villanelle once again. Their relationship will be more complicated this time and it's apparent they're not yet done chasing one another. The two will continue having a complicated love-and-hate relationship.

As for Villanelle, she's trying to move on, but she was approached by an old foe. Perhaps, she wants to forget everything and thinks she's better, even though she isn't. She's possibly going through the 5 phases of grief that many people experience after a breakup or death. But then, it seems like she's terrified when she realized Eve's not dead.

Killing Eve season 3 picks up the huge cliffhanger in the season 2 finale, wherein Villanelle shot Eve in the back. Everything turns in a different direction this time, but they'll continue their fierce game of cat and mouse. The recent poster of the new installment also delivered a short message: "So Over You." Hence, some things change between them, making viewers more excited.

The poster also hints that the theme of the new season revolves around obsession. Eve and Villanelle often find something within one another, which is inescapable. Their love-and-hate relationship in the previous season also showed they gave one another a different sense of purpose. And now, their actions lead them to new impulses, as well as darker paths.

The premiere of Killing Eve season 3 will also see Carolyn being undermined at work. And as for Kenny, he can't leave his own investigation into The Twelve alone. Meanwhile, the premiere was set to arrive later this month but the original release was moved to an earlier date, and AMC Networks Entertainment Group confirmed this news.

Originally, Killing Eve season 3 is scheduled to release on Sunday, Apr. 26, on BBC America in the United States. But due to the COVID-19 outbreak and mass lockdown, AMC Networks decided to release the series on Apr. 12 instead. Also, UK-based viewers can watch the new installment and it will be available on Monday, Apr. 13, on BBC iPlayer.
