Queen Elizabeth II delivered her most important address to the nation amid the coronavirus outbreak in the United Kingdom. Her Majesty proved that she's the epitome of resilience and calmness in her 68 years of reigning. Piers Morgan has nothing but good praises for the Queen herself, so when an American tried to belittle Her Royal Highness, the veteran journalist hit on President Donald Trump.

In an article on Daily Mail, the 55-year-old broadcaster believed Queen Elizabeth gave the "greatest speech of her life" when she addressed the nation about the coronavirus outbreak in the country. She thanked the health workers for saving people and the public for following the orders while asking everyone to find more strength in this time of crisis.

She assured everyone that they would all overcome this pandemic, better days would return, and they would be all reunited. This made the social media filled with emotional praises for the Queen. Piers Morgan also commended her for lifting everyone's spirits and giving the public hope for the future.

However, the London-based American comedienne Molly Mulshine said she didn't get what Queen Elizabeth said. The Good Morning Britain host came to the Queen's defense, saying she is an American and she doesn't have to "get it," as the monarch spoke for Britain.

Piers Morgan then added that Queen Elizabeth comforted the British people in five minutes compared to what Donald Trump had done in over 50 hours. He later described the United States President's speech as "self-aggrandizing, contradictory, inaccurate, inflammatory, point-scoring addresses to the American people during this crisis." He continued to say that the POTUS's leadership has been erratic and lacking dignity, empathy, and calm that all Americans are crying to have.

Leading historian and royal biographer Robert Lacey added that Queen Elizabeth effortlessly captured the mood of Britain. He admitted to People that her speech put a lump in his throat.

Queen Elizabeth even compared today's situation to that of the fears of World War II in the 1940s, when children were also evacuated from Britain to be safe. She managed to make parallels, but explained that everyone had to take their part now as this is a different "international struggle."

Queen Elizabeth showed positivity without a hint of false optimism. Lacey described her as sober and realistic with a ground of confidence. Although she now relocates to Windsor Castle to self-isolate with Prince Philip amid the coronavirus outbreak, she looks very well, and her physical state and resilience were an inspiration to many.
