Britney Spears is not having the best life as of late but a new bundle of joy might change that. New rumors have it that the "Baby One More Time" singer is expecting her baby No. 3 and she is hoping that it will be a girl.
According to NW, the "Toxic" singer has been telling her friends that she's late and believes that she is pregnant. Apparently, Spears is already buying pink baby onesies because she is hoping to have a little girl. Britney has two sons from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline.
A source of the tabloid claimed the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer missed being a mother as her two sons, Sean and Jayden James, are currently under the custody of her ex-husband. However, the insider also claimed that Britney isn't sure whether or not she is pregnant as she hasn't taken a test.
"She's vague about whether she's taken a test. I bet she's scared of doing that in case it says she's not. She wants to keep her happy buzz going as long as possible," the source of the outlet also claimed.
Spears' boyfriend Sam Asghari, on the other hand, is, allegedly, a little nervous about the pregnancy. The tabloid claimed the 26-year-old personal trainer-turned-model is worried that having another child might affect the singer's mental health.
It can be recalled that in early 2019, Spears announced the cancellation of her second Las Vegas residency show, Britney: Domination, after her father had a near-fatal colon rupture. A couple months later, Spears was, reportedly, sent into a psychiatric facility against her will.
The hospitalization and Domination cancellation were, allegedly, ordered by Spears's father after she decided to not take her medication and violated rules in her conservatorship, specifically driving. This sparked an investigation of the prolonged conservatorship by her father.
Gossip Cop couldn't say for sure if NW's story about Spears' pregnancy was pure speculation. The outlet checked on the singer's recent Instagram posts and she doesn't show a baby bump at all. However, NW claimed that the pregnancy is still in its early days.
Nonetheless, Gossip Cop is still confident that the singer is not pregnant considering the reputation of NW that often made pregnancy rumors about Spears. Back in November 2018, the same publication reported that the The Mickey Mouse Club alum was secretly engaged and using a surrogate to carry her third child. Britney was, allegedly, worried that carrying the baby would lead once again to "postnatal depression."
