A second unauthorized biography of the United States First Lady, Melania Trump has been announced earlier this week. It was said that the announcement was made by the material's publisher, Simon & Schuster.
The biography titled, The Art of Her Deal was reportedly authored by the Pulitzer Prize-winner and Washington Post reporter Mary Jordan. As revealed by The Hill, she interviewed over 100 individuals for this project.
It was then noted that the author started writing the piece in 2015. During this time, only a few individuals know who she is despite the popularity and fame she has as the wife of the billionaire mogul, Donald Trump.
While it took many years before the project was completed, the publishing company announced that this will finally be out on June 16. It was also said that the subject of the book will "shed [a] light" on the "mysterious" Melania Trump.
The announcement also shared that the biography deems the current US First Lady as a "savvy" and "deliberate woman" who largely knows "how to play the long game." Some of the other descriptions included about her were "ambitious" and "steely."
It was further explained that while her husband is the one who became famous for the phrase "the art of the deal," it is essentially the now First Lady who "pulled off deals" that brought her to the things she wants. Hence, the title, "The art of her deal."
As added by the Washington Examiner, aside from the 100 individuals that Mary Jordan interviewed for her book, she was able to accomplish the project with the help of several people who spoke publicly for the first time about Melania Trump. There were also reportedly "never-before-seen" documents and tapes that helped her with her work.
The author was also said to add that Donald Trump's wife is "far more interesting" than what the public sees and thinks of her. She then claimed that her book "paints a surprising" picture of Melania Trump, who is a "determined immigrant."
The reports then revealed that the White House "declined" Mary Jordan's request to interview or ask questions to Melania. So, this is basically the reason why The Art of Her Deal is also deemed as an "unauthorized biography" of the First Lady.
Last December, Kate Bennett's Free, Melania was published and released to the public. It became the first unauthorized biography of Melania Trump ever made.
