Some members of the British Royal Family have been known to smoke cigarettes. While the risks and dangers of smoking have been widely established in recent times, it was seen "glamorous," especially in the circle of royals.

Since then, however, Queen Elizabeth II has never smoked a cigarette. Despite almost all members of her family does, like her father, King George VI, it was said that she hated it.

According to Cheat Sheet, the habit, which is now deemed a "deadly vice" has been enjoyed by some younger royals of the British Royal Family. The most popular royal, who was known to enjoy puffing smokes, is Prince Harry.

Sources stated that the Duke of Sussex picked up the "nicotine habit" during his teenage years. This habit of his then reportedly became a huge part of his lifestyle as he smoked a pack per day of Marlboros.

After meeting Meghan Markle, though, it was said that he has since quit and ditch the vice. It was revealed that the Duchess of Sussex never liked it and encourage her husband to live a much healthier lifestyle.

Next to Prince Harry, another young member of the British Royal Family who was caught smoking cigarettes is Princess Eugenie. The publication said that several photos of the Princess of York circulated in the past as she was puffing a cigarette in her hand.

But, just like her cousin, she reportedly said that the photos were taken during her teenage years. She has now ditched the habit.

In the same report, it was revealed that Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall was also a smoker. As it happened, she smoked for 30 years of her life despite Prince Charles' hatred over the habit.

It was also said that the Duchess smoked half a pack per day. But, with the help of the health guru, Mosaraf Al, she was able to stop.

Today, it has appeared that none of the British Royal Family members are still into the nicotine habit, which is a huge change into the dynamic of the royals' lifestyle. Even so, a former royal aide was said to reveal his experiences with a royal, who was known as a heavy smoker since then.

As per Express UK, the Queen's sister, Princess Margaret was a smoker throughout her life. Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrel reportedly shared in the past that the Monarch's sister blew smoke in his face every time she smoked. Although he said that he did not mind it all, he thought that it was very "rude" to do that.
