Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have already settled down in their new home in Los Angeles. But, the speculations and allegations about their royal exit have never stopped. As recently reported, Prince Charles' wife, Camilla, may likely have something to do about it.

When the Sussex couple announced that they are planning to step down as senior royals earlier this year, it shocked a lot of people, including especially the senior royals. It was even said that no one knows about their plans, even Queen Elizabeth II.

While this has remained unproven, things have appeared to be settled now as the deal of their exit has just recently concluded. On March 31, they are officially no longer senior royals.

According to New Idea, it may seem that this is what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have wanted all along after two years of being bombarded by the media and press. But, royal insiders reportedly revealed that Prince Charles' second wife, Camilla, had a "secret role" behind the whole debacle. As claimed, she was "more involved" in it than anyone could have imagined.

It was stated that the Duchess of Cornwall "secretly revels" in the situation. She was also described as a "conniving politician" since she reportedly "encouraged" Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to pursue their exit.

The said royal insider pointed out that her statements about Megxit were a huge tell that she had a crucial role behind the drama. As explained, when she was asked whether she will miss the Sussex couple after, she responded: "of course." However, it was highlighted that she hurried with her answers as if she wanted to leave it all behind.

In a similar angle released by Express UK, it was shared that, in the two years of being a senior royal, Prince Charles' wife has appeared to be very welcoming toward Meghan Markle. The sources even said that they had a lot of photos laughing together, especially during events and engagements.

However, it has come to the attention of many that there was an event almost a decade ago that seemingly proves her "more approval" of Kate Middleton than Meghan Markle. As shared, she invited the Duchess of Cambridge for a "public lunch" months before her wedding to Prince Charles' firstborn son, Prince William.

It was noted that she did not have to do it publicly, and yet she did. It reportedly showed that Camilla wanted the public to see that "they are friends."

But, as pointed out, the same thing did not happen when Meghan Markle arrived in the family. This has left many royal watchers thinking and concluding that she wanted Meghan Markle to leave The Firm since the beginning.
