Kate Middleton takes high measures to make sure that her patronages get her support in this time of crisis. Aside from making video calls while working at home, Prince William's wife also writes a letter to Evelina London Children's Hospital to boost its staff's spirits, knowing the extra work they do and the stress they endure due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Evelina London, one of the Duchess of Cambridge's patrons, shared the letter it received from the future queen consort on Twitter. "It was wonderful to receive an uplifting message from our Patron HRH, The Duchess of Cambridge, for all our hardworking staff and volunteers," the caption read.
Dated April 14, Kate Middleton wrote that she's keeping the hospital and its staff in her thoughts. She also commended their work, saying what they're doing was "truly inspirational"--a testament of their support and commitment to their patients. Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the hospital is doing everything it can to pull together to make sure people will have the best possible care.
She also showed her support to the hospital's staff and asked them to take care of themselves and each other, assuring that the whole country is behind them. She then ended her note by saying that she wished them and their family the very best of health and signed the letter with a signature of her name, Catherine.
Despite the nationwide lockdown, the royal family is pulling all the stops to show their support for people and organizations that are bravely taking the risk to fight the global pandemic. Aside from her letter, Kate Middleton also video called the teachers and staff at Casterton Primary Academy in Burnley, England.
According to Harper's Bazaar, this school remains open to shelter the children of essential workers and vulnerable kids who need care and a place to stay. Kate Middleton, along with her husband Prince William, showed their gratitude to the facility's teachers and happily talked to the students about the activities they do during this challenging time.
The mother-of-three then asked the kids to stay safe, while praising the school's effort to inject some normality in their lives, as they have the structure and a safe place, amid the coronavirus outbreak. She also admired the educators' work, although what they do is not easy, especially in the circumstances that everyone is in today, she said that it's a job well done and fantastic. One of Kate Middleton's patronages, Place2Be, supports the education program at Casterton Primary Academy.
