In a few weeks' time, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first-born child, Archie Harrison, is turning one. Following a milestone year, sources claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is ready to have another baby.
According to Daily Mail, Meghan hinted to a friend during their conversation that she's eager to have a second child. The Duchess of Sussex said that her son with Prince Harry needs a "pint-sized" buddy apart from their two dogs.
Earlier, reports also revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan want to try the earnest to give Archie a sibling. The couple, reportedly, said that they are committed to having another child now that they have more time to focus on raising a family as they've stepped back from their royal roles.
Another source, however, said that, at the moment, Prince Harry and Meghan want to enjoy Archie's first year. The Sussexes are currently relishing the time they have witnessing their son's milestones and many firsts. However, the Duke of Sussex also admitted in a video conferencing call with some of the charities he supports that having an 11-month-old baby is probably enough.
Meanwhile, the friend also said that Meghan always lights up when she speaks about her son. She said that Archie is such a bundle of energy and would rather play than sleep.
Prince Harry also shared during the chat session, while being in quarantine in Los Angeles, that he's feeling guilty for having so much family time with Meghan and Archie these days because there's nothing else to do during the lockdown. However, he also said that it's also nice to enjoy the moments where you're just on floor laughing with family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were supposed to have a big first birthday party for Archie. But since the government of California is still not easing up on rules regarding social distancing and large gatherings, Prince Harry and Meghan have decided to cancel the celebration. Instead, it will just be the three of them celebrating Archie's birthday in their L.A. home.
The Sussexes apparently live in a sprawling Malibu house near Elton John's residence. The couple moved in Los Angeles after staying in Vancouver for close to five months.
Prince Harry and Meghan are planning to launch a new foundation that will be tapping into their contacts and resources in the United States. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named the foundation, Archewell, after their son. They will likely reveal more details about it once this pandemic is controlled.
