Did you know that Queen Elizabeth has eight great-grandchildren who will lead the British royal family in the next generation? This line is led by Prince George, the eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who is the third in line to be king after his father, his grandfather Prince Charl

Currently 6 years old, Prince George might not have an idea of his future responsibilities just yet. However, he will not be all alone as he has his royal siblings and cousins to count on when his time to reign has come.

Princess Charlotte, Prince George's younger sister, is just turning 5 years old in May. But she is the fourth in the line of succession to the British throne. Next to Charlotte is two-year-old Prince Louis who is the third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the fifth in the line of succession.

Queen Elizabeth's very first great-granddaughter, however, is actually Savannah Phillips, born three years before Prince George. She is the daughter of Autumn and Peter Phillips, the Queen's very first grandson from Princess Anne.

Savannah has a sister in Isla Phillips who was born in 2012. Both girls are the 16th and 17th in line to the throne.

The Queen's other granddaughter, Zara Tindall, has two young girls as well. Mia was born in 2014 while Lena was born in 2018, the same year as Prince Louis. The Tindall girls are 19th and 20th in the line of succession.

Lastly, Queen Elizabeth's youngest great-grandson, so far, is Archie Harrison, the son of Prince Harry and Meghan, who will be turning one on May 6. Archie, the seventh in line to throne, and his parents are supposed to be joining the royal family this summer in Balmoral for the very first time, barring any developments about the coronavirus lockdown.

Of all the Queen's great-grandchildren, it's only the Cambridge kids -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis -- who carry royal titles. Peter, Zara, and Prince Harry have opted for their children not to have any royal titles as they want to raise their kids in a normal environment.

It's unclear for now if Archie will follow in his parents' footsteps and do public service. Peter's daughters and the Zara's kids are also still too young to show interest in any royal work.

The Queen's other adult grandchildren -- Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie -- still do not have children. Lady Louise and James, the Viscount Severn, on the other hand, are still in their teens.
