Hello Games continues to work on making "No Man's Sky" live up to its billing as a promising space exploration game, something that most had expected back in 2016. Unfortunately, its debut was not as explosive as most though but game developers worked their way into making the game enticing.

Just recently, "No Man's Sky" saw the introduction of Exo-Mech suits that gave folks added mobility. That was not spared from criticism with some wary of the efficiency and speed of travel since the suit was likely to carry some weight-related concerns. Nevertheless, it is an enhancement that is welcome to players. It appends previous game improvements such as the Living Ships that helped players explore more worlds.

But as most know, a wide-open space exploration game means that there are endless possibilities. And in a recent blog post, it appears that developers still have a lot lined up moving forward. However, it remains to be seen if their course will be altered. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused limitations, paralyzing the world and confining people to their homes. But technology can easily adapt to that. For as long as they have computers and a reliable internet connection, these planned enhancements can still push through regardless of where they may be.

Mobility has been the complaint of most but the good news is that developers are incrementally working on it. Looking beyond that, there are things like new weapons, new worlds, and character interaction with non-playing ones that have been suggested at one time or another. Adding missions could be dandy, something that could keep gamers hooked to the game or logging in more frequently.

The thing with "No Man's Sky" is that this is the best time to figure out what things they can do to improve the game. Most folks are holed up at home and likely playing the game as we speak. If there is a time to strike and recall lost glory, that would be now during the COVID-19 pandemic. Appeasing gamers of all ages while they have the time to play the game is a good opportunity to show why "No Man's Sky" is a game to play.

"No Man's Sky" is available in most game consoles such as the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC. There is even a VR version that some can try without added cost. And even as they try to work on more improvements, Hello Games is already working on another title called "The Last Campfire." Learning from the "No Man's Sky" reception, Bethesda needs to make sure that all bases are covered this time around.
