EXO members are known for having a tight knit relationship and distance certainly does not affect their closeness. The recent interaction between EXO's Lay Zhang and Suho recently made EXO-Ls very sentimental as they witnessed the exchange.
According to a report by Koreaboo, Suho took time to hold a live broadcast through Instagram Live recently to touch base with the fans who wanted to know more about their activities.
It seems that EXO's Lay was one of the netizens who was eagerly watching for updates from his leader. He decided to surprise Suho and EXO-Ls by leaving a comment just as the number of viewers hit 100,000.
He typed in the message "Hi" in Chinese which immediately evoked a surprised and excited reaction from Suho. He immediately responded with a barrage of warm greetings to Lay and used his real name in his address.
"Nihao? How are you, Yixing? Lay, I miss you! I miss Lay. Our Yixingie.. He's indeed cool promoting alone and working hard, but whenever he calls us personally, he always tells us alot that he's lonely. We are one everyone, right?" Suho said to his member and to EXO-Ls who were tuned in to the broadcast.
Lay also confirmed that he felt lonely while promoting alone in China. Upon hearing it, Suho quickly switched to leader mode and rallied his member to cheer up because they are always together in spirit.
"But everyone, we are one, right? Really, EXO is a team. Even as I became a solo artist and promoting as one, I debuted in a team, didn't I? Because of this, us EXO, when everyone is together, we are one ... Even as we're teasing each other, WE ARE ONE," he said and urged the fandom to cheer for Lay.
The gesture touched Lay deeply and he joined the fans in the EXO-L's battlecry. He also left a message saying "Thank you, leader" and "I love you."
Suho, never shy about showing his love for his members responded with his own "I love you," adding that he loves all of their members.
This immediately sparked a flood of crying emojis from fans who were tuned in to the broadcast. Lay has been promoting in China for quite a while as a solo act but remains as a member of EXO's OT9. Suho, who is expected to enlist for mandatory service this year, also released his first solo album Self Portrait last month.
