Prince Harry just recently launched his first major project since Megxit. HeadFIT, which is an online platform to help military staff to improve their mental health, is now functional. But, after the launch, new reports emerged revealing a new project that the Duke of Sussex has done this year.

According to CNN, the royal born-Prince will star in the upcoming special episode of Thomas & Friends. As reported, he has recorded an introduction to the episode, which will feature Queen Elizabeth II and a young Prince Charles.

The episode titled, The Royal Engine, will mark the program's 75th anniversary this year. It will, reportedly, air on Netflix US, on Friday, and the following day on UK's Milkshake. Also, the episode will be available in more than 180 countries, as per claims.

In a report released by Vanity Fair, the episode will likely see Prince Harry in a "plaid armchair" while holding a Thomas book. Some promotional photos were also, reportedly, published on various publications, like Variety.

With the photos' emergence, the Duke of Sussex also shared a brief statement about the television project. It was said that he deems "Thomas the Tank Engine" as a "comforting, familiar face," much like the rest of so many families who have been watching the animated children's program for the last 75 years. He then added that the show, in its premise, has been "entertaining, educating, and inspiring," especially to children.

Prince Harry, reportedly, went on to reveal that he has "fond memories" of the show upon growing up. As the royal born-Prince stated, it has "transported" him to several "new places" through Thomas' adventures.

The Sun UK also released a similar report. In a set of photos, these revealed that the Duke of Sussex has been truly a "huge fan" of the show since he was a kid.

Several of the photos have shown his younger self carrying a Thomas the Tank Engine bag as he enters the first day of his nursery in 1987. With him, Prince Charles and Princess Diana can also be seen, as well as his brother, Prince William.

The revelations of the television project just came out earlier this week. But, as noted, Prince Harry recorded the introduction for the special episode in January, prior to his and his wife's exit. Accordingly, the speculations whether he is following Meghan Markle's footsteps into the world of television, considering that the Duchess also did a voice-over project for Disney+'s Elephant, have remained unclear.
