Kate Middleton is the type of girl who has a "wicked sense of humor" and anyone around her can crack a good joke because she has "no airs and graces" about her, according to her wedding hairstylist.
Richard Ward recently spoke to People to recall Kate's big wedding day to Prince William. Ward revealed the things that he remembered most on that particular event, which took place on April 29, 2011.
The hairdresser said that both Prince William and Kate are very down-to-earth despite their royal status. He said that Prince William actually made him a cup of tea when he first visited their home.
Following the royal wedding, Prince William and Kate returned to their house to prepare for the wedding reception. Ward was trying to fix Kate's hair but he had trouble with the mirror and it was Prince William who served as his assistant.
"He just said, 'Let me give you a hand,' and I said, 'No, no, honestly,'" Ward shared. "But he took one end and I've got the other and we're shuffling along with this mirror - he's great, he really is."
Meanwhile, Kate is indeed known for her great sense of humor. The Duchess of Cambridge would often rib at her husband in public but Prince William is just as funny as his wife.
In one interview, Kate reacted to the speculation that she used to have a poster of Prince William in her bedroom as a teenager.
"He wishes," the duchess replied with a laugh. "No, I had the Levi's guy on my bedroom wall, not a picture of William. Sorry."
At one art event, Prince William and Kate were asked to paint on a canvas but realizing her work wasn't great, Kate asked where she could hide the painting. Her husband, on the other hand, said that she pretty much ruined the art.
During another public event, some royal followers were congratulating the Duchess of Cambridge on her third pregnancy with Prince Louis. She laughed and said, while pointing at her husband, that he was in denial.
When she receives gifts like toys, Kate would often quip that they would just have to have more babies so someone could use the toys. She would coyly look at Prince William and wait for his reaction.
While promoting their initiative, Heads Together, to teenage kids in 2016, William said that he still feels like he's 16 years old. His wife agreed and said that he absolutely behaves like a teenager.
Kate also loves to mock Prince William's bald patch. On several occasions of their royal tour, she would make jokes about the Duke of Cambridge's thinning hair.
