Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is trying to keep fit in the best and fun way possible amid the coronavirus lockdown. The wife of Prince Charles is apparently taking ballet lessons online and she is encouraging everyone else to give this a try.

In a video feature, Duchess Camilla said that she is taking online classes for the over 55 years old with Silver Swans. While she is no professional, Camilla is using ballet to stay active especially when being at home during the quarantine can lead to a sedentary lifestyle.

According to CNN, Camilla has been taking actual ballet lessons from the academy since 2018. Initially, she had hesitations because she considered herself "very ancient" with wobbly legs.

"I thought it was going to be very funny and I was going to laugh at everybody toppling over," she remarked. "But I think we concentrate so hard we don't even know what our friend next door is doing."

The Duchess of Cornwall also said that people should seize up this lockdown as a chance to exercise. She said that it doesn't matter if it's just 10 or 20 minutes, as long as there is physical activity.

Camilla revealed that she combines ballet with some pilates as well. She also likes to walk around their estate in Birkhall.

Prince Charles' wife also said that being in lockdown has been "very peculiar" and her social diary is filled events that have been canceled. It's also challenging for her husband, whom the duchess said is a workaholic.

If he isn't walking around his Birkhall property, Prince Charles spends most of his days in lockdown on his work desk. He talks to different organizations and maintains work in a virtual platform.

However, to wind down, the Prince of Wales apparently loves watching the funniest viral videos. It's unclear exactly what these funny videos are or if Prince Charles has a penchant for TikTok. However, it's certain that the heir to the throne appreciates the value of technology amid these challenging times.

Prince Charles has also been using video conferencing to communicate with family. Like her son, Queen Elizabeth is also getting on board with Skype, FaceTime or whatever video conferencing platform is available.

However, the Queen still does the traditional way of communicating by sending letters (emails) or giving a phone call. Her weekly meetings with Prime Minister Boris Johnson is still done very Wednesdays, except not face-to-face but over the phone.
