Joe Biden gets the support of prominent members of the #MeToo movement despite the sexual allegations thrown against him. The presumptive presidential nominee denied the accusations made by his former senate staffer, Tara Reade, after it gained credibility in the past week and a lot of the campaign's participants believed in him.

In an episode of MSNBC's Morning Joe, Joe Biden said Tara Reade's allegations were "not true" at all. "I'm saying it unequivocally: It never, never happened. And it didn't. It never happened," he told the host Mika Brzezinski.

According to Celebrity Insider, Tara Reade was just one of the many women who came forward in 2019 and accused the Democratic frontrunner of sexually assaulting her. It all began when he made her physically uncomfortable with his touches. She then filed a written complaint about it with the Senate personnel office, although it couldn't be found today.

Despite the sexual allegations, alleged witnesses, and a Larry King Live video evidence, several members of the #MeToo movement, which fights against sexual harassment and sexual assault of women, showed their support to Joe Biden. Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and Alyssa Milano even endorsed the presidential hopeful for the 2020 election.

Some people questioned Nancy Pelosi's move after she supported Dr. Christina Blasey Ford, who also accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault. The Speaker of the House simply said that she respects the #MeToo movement and doesn't need a lecture or speech about, but she supports Joe Biden.

Business Insider noted that Nancy Pelosi even praised the record and character of the former vice president of Barack Obama, calling him a "person of great values." Amid the situation, she said she has a "great comfort" in him.

She also revealed that she's so proud as the happiest day for her was to show her support to Joe Biden as the next president of the United States. "He's a person of great integrity, of great concern for the American people, he authored the Violence Against Women's Act," she explained.

Nancy Pelosi also told CNN in an interview that she's satisfied with Joe Biden's response to Tara Reade's allegations. She knows it's a big issue that she has to deal with. But, she's impressed in the way that people, who worked with him at the time, never heard even a single detail about the matter.

Aside from Nancy Pelosi, women's rights champion Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand also shows her support to Joe Biden. Other prominent Democrats also stand beside the former senator.
