The recently-aired episode of Killing Eve season 3, titled "Still Got It," delivered an unexpected and shocking twist. The series killed off one of its significant characters, with Owen McDonnell's Niko Polastri meeting his ultimate demise in the previous episode.

In the closing minutes of the recent episode of Killing Eve season 3, Eve's Polish-English husband was murdered right in front of her. This was actually an elaborative plan of Dasha and a solution for Villanelle's erratic behavior to try to get her under control.

The main objective here is to take out someone close to Eve to push her away from doing further investigation. This was a bold plan and Niko's death made sense to a certain degree. However, the plan didn't entirely work for Eve.

It looks like the titular character is still obsessed with Villanelle despite losing Niko. Eve may still proceed with what she's doing and will continue seeking answers. It also remains to be seen whether or not Even would believe that Villanelle did all of these.

Niko is one of the fundamental characters in the series and losing him in Killing Eve season 3 may impact the lives of the characters in some ways. Perhaps, this could further sever Eve and Villanelle forever. There's also a chance Eve will realize Villanelle was framed and they could start working together.

Meanwhile, the next episode of Killing Eve season 3, titled "Are You From Pinner," may see Villanelle reuniting with her family. She long presumed they were dead, but Konstantin delivered the shocking news to the assassin. He revealed to her that some of her family members are still alive.

In some of the preview photos of the upcoming episode, it looks like Villanelle was adjusting to her rural life. One of the photos showed her tending to farmland with a man named Grigoriy, while another image featured her having fun at the fair. Moreover, the preview clip teased Villanelle is spending some time with her family.

Perhaps, we're going to see the character contemplating within this episode. It's yet to be seen whether Villanelle will give up her cosmopolitan life and just live with her family in the rural area. However, something bad may happen and ruin her decision, which could lead her to go back to the city.

Killing Eve season 3 airs every Sunday night on BBC America.
