Prince William and Prince Harry are now, reportedly, back in touch. The two princes, allegedly, talk to each other again after their alleged feud and tension in their relationship.
Prince William and Prince Harry are mending their brotherly bond after everything that is happening in the royal family. There is Prince Charles' fight against coronavirus, the Sussexes' so-called Megxit, and the reported conflict between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. Now, it looks like these issues are coming to rest.
"There have been clearly some quite major rifts in that relationship, but things have got better, and I know that William and Harry are in touch on the phone," royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. "They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays, and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch."
Earlier reports revealed that the siblings were trying to mend their relationship in February. As the Duke of Sussex is being homesick while staying in Los Angeles, it is the perfect time to reconnect with his older brother. The alleged tension between the two duchesses also wane, Nicholl revealed.
With the easing tension, the royal commentator believes there is a "sense of relief" between the two parties, and all the issues that surround them will be a thing of the past. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now free to do what they want, while Prince William and Kate Middleton can continue doing their royal duties without thinking of all the drama that they have all been through. Nicholl believes that the Cambridges miss the Sussexes to some degree, but she is more confident that they miss Harry being around.
Sadly, due to the coronavirus outbreak, the sixth in line to the throne and his family can't travel back and forth the United Kingdom. Hence, they are now all acquainted to use video calls, and it will help them in the future. According to News.com.au, it will be the new normal today.
No one will dare to jump on a plane all the time to go from one country to another. The COVID-19 pandemic teaches everyone to create a new way to do their works, and this also applies to the royal family.
Conference calls become a new way for them to communicate not just to each other but to their patrons and other people, too. Although the global health crisis has affected the beginning of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new life in L.A., it seems to help them reconnect to Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the rest of the royal family.
