Meghan Markle was apparently a great person to train since she was sympathetic to her trainer. She also made an effort to talk to him in his native language, according to Jorge Blanco, who worked with the Duchess of Sussex for years.
Blanco revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair Spain that he trained Meghan in kickboxing, martial arts and boxing while she was living in Toronto. At that time, the Duchess of Sussex was still working on the set of her hit show Suits.
The trainer said that Meghan, a known fitness buff, often speaks to him in Spanish with an Argentine accent. The Duchess of Sussex know the language because she used to work at the American embassy in Argentina.
"I had a great time training with her because she is super sympathetic and also speaks Spanish with an Argentine accent," Blanco shared.
Meghan's other trainer in Toronto, Craig McNamee, also shared that she would often go to training sessions three or four times a week. She does cardio and stretches for 45 minutes during these sessions.
Meanwhile, a former high school friend said that the Duchess of Sussex toyed with the hearts of their male pals before she found true love with Prince Harry. Nema Vand, who is part of the reality TV show Shahs of Sunset, shared in a podcast interview that Meghan knew how to handle the boys in high school.
Vand shared that everyone admired the mixed raced Meghan because she was a sweet and kind person who behaved like a woman among the girls in high school. For a while, Vand was good friends with the former TV star and he actually had a crush on her.
The Duchess of Sussex attended an all-girls school in Los Angeles, which had an equivalent boys' school, where Vand attended. Vand recalled one time that Meghan spoke to him in Farsi and flirted with him.
"She said to me in Farsi, 'You are so beautiful.' I asked her, 'How do you know Farsi?' She said, 'I learned it for you.' Then she walked away" Vand shared.
The reality TV star also said that one of his other high school friends didn't have good memories of Meghan. Vand called out the Duchess of Sussex for ghosting their pal, Gabe.
"My friend Gabe that I grew up with dated Meghan in high school and he says that after she got on Suits, they were friends for years," Vand said. "Afterwards he said she kind of ghosted him. It really hurt his feelings."
