Though they are no longer together, Cara Delevingne is still defending her ex, Ashley Benson, against haters. Benson has been receiving backlash after she was spotted kissing rapper G-Eazy, less than a week after it was revealed she and Delevingne broke up.

After rumors that they are getting married, Cara and Ashley shocked many when it was revealed that they had ended their almost two-year relationship. The news broke last week but it appeared that the two split in early April.

Then, the Pretty Little Liars actress was spotted hanging out with G-Eazy last week. Benson was spotted picking up food with the rapper. After grabbing their food, the two were seen sharing a kiss

Speculations spread that Ashley had already moved on which caused many to target her with criticisms. The romance rumor was further fueled when Ashley liked a post on one of her fan Instagram accounts of a screenshot of an article speculating the actress' rumored relationship with G-Eazy.

Apparently, she also liked a comment from a fan account that urged everyone to stop assuming that Ashley cheated on Cara. The comment also assumed that G-Eazy was just being a good friend to Benson.

But some who claimed to be fans of Cara didn't take the photos of Ashley and G-Eazy as friends just hanging out. They took to Ashley's social media pages and left harsh comments about the actress.

Some blatantly said they are happy that Delevingne broke up with the Spring Breakers actress. Others said they can't believe Ashley left the Suicide Squad actress for G-Eazy.

Delevingne, however, didn't just sit back and let fans spread hate on her ex. The British model/actress posted a message on her Instagram Stories defending Ashley.

It looks like things ended amicably between Delevingne and Benson as the former appealed to her fans to stop hating her ex-girlfriend. The Anna Karenina star stressed no one knows the truth about their break up except for her and Ashley.

Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson first sparked rumors that they were in a romantic relationship when they were spotted kissing in August 2018. They finally confirmed the relationship in June 2019 when they stepped out together for The Trevor Project's TrevorLIVE Gala in New York City.

G-Eazy and Benson, on the other hand, recently worked together on the rapper's cover of Radiohead's "Creep." The rapper dropped the duet via social media last month. He captioned the post, "You're so f**king special."
