It has already been established that Jeonghan is one of the luckiest idols in the industry. In addition to his good looks and talent, Yoon Jeonghan always excels in random games that the members of SEVENTEEN take part in during their variety show Going SEVENTEEN. However, it looks like one of his dongsaengs is giving the vocalist a run for his money! Wonwoo has just proven he is just as lucky as Jeonghan when it comes to random challenges.
In the latest episode of Going SEVENTEEN 2020, the idols continued with their Human Chess game. This time, it looks like each team was truly determined to defeat the other as they tried to find interesting new strategies to get ahead of their opponent. Mingyu and Jun, who were the ones responsible for moving the human chess pieces, used different strategies in the game. However, Kim Mingyu ultimately chose to attack Wonwoo (bishop) with Joshua (knight), leading to yet another game of tossing the shoe in a bucket.
Before the game started, the members of SEVENTEEN already stated that this particular challenge was all about luck and Wonwoo immediately proved it. Although Joshua barely got his shoe close enough to the bucket, Jeon Wonwoo managed to kick his own shoe in on his first try. However, the other team were quick to point out that the effort didn't count since the bucket tipped over. After a lengthy argument where even the staff got involved, it was ultimately decided that Joshua and Wonwoo would have to try again until someone managed to get their shoe into the bucket without it tipping over.
Although the two had to go through several attempts, it was still Wonwoo who managed to kick his shoe into the bucket without tipping it over. With that victory, Jun immediately used Jeon Wonwoo to attack the opposing team's King, which was Jeonghan. This resulted in another match of pop-up Pirate Game where the two had to stick plastic knives into a barrel while avoiding hitting the pirate. Yoon Jeonghan already proved he was lucky in this game but can he keep it up against the equally lucky Wonwoo?
There were several attempts between the two SEVENTEEN members. At one point, it even looked like Jeonghan was trying to cheat but his luck may have run out this time. Yoon Jeonghan chose the wrong slot and caused the pirate to jump out of the barrel, giving Wonwoo's team another victory.
