Melania Trump and Donald Trump first met in the early 2000s. A few years into the relationship, the couple decided to get married and start a family in 2005. Since then, they have remained as a couple despite all the challenges and struggles.

While Donald and Melania have stayed in their marriage, the public could not help but, wonder what would happen if they get a divorce. Besides, many individuals, reportedly, believe that this is where their relationship will end in the future considering all the rumors and scandals.

If they choose to legally separate and get a divorce, this will become a huge thing in the United States as no US President has ever gotten divorced amid his stay inside the White House. So, it will be "unprecedented," according to Business Insider.

The publication, however, pointed out that the process might be much "smoother" than anyone could imagine, thanks to the First Couple's prenup. As reported, Donald Trump is a "big believer" of prenups.

It was explained that prior to Melania Trump, the now-US President married twice. His first was to Ivana Trump, whom he shares three kids, and his second to Marla Maples. In both marriages, they had prenups, which became very useful and effective, especially on Trump's end as it all ended in divorces.

With his third marriage, reports revealed that the First Lady is all for prenups, as well. It has appeared then that they've come to a very effective agreement that will work for both of them. So, if they get a divorce, it will not be that messy since Melania, reportedly, agreed with all of her husband's terms, and so is Donald to his wife.

Town & Country also reported that several lawyers have speculated a lot of things that could happen when Melania Trump and Donald Trump get a divorce. Based on assertions, they all, reportedly, believe that the First Lady would receive a certain amount that will be sufficient for her new house. Also, they, reportedly, agreed that the US President will provide child support for their teenage son, Barron Trump.

All of these speculations are highly plausible given that these are also the main takeaways from Trump's previous prenups. But, if in case he would not give Melania a new home, experts, reportedly, said that she might return to New York with Barron as she owns a unit at the Trump Tower.

As for her work at the East Wing, reports seemingly agree that Ivanka Trump may replace Melania Trump if she leaves the White House.
