Melania Trump and Donald Trump have been plagued with several allegations and speculations that their marriage is not working. Many reports even noted that both of them are not happy with their relationship.

Despite the assertions, the First Couple has repeatedly maintained that they do not have problems at all when it comes to their marriage. Several witnesses even pointed out that Melania and Donald are very "intimate" with each other, especially behind closed doors.

While the debate over the matter continues to develop, many reports seemingly laid out some signs that they are at "rocky place" in their marriage. Aside from the "awkward PDAs," many authors and journalists also revealed that Melania Trump and Donald Trump "sleep" on separate bedrooms.

In a report released by Business Insider, it was said that CNN correspondent, Kate Bennett's book titled, Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography, confirmed that not only that the First Couple does not share a bedroom but, they also have separate floors.

In the book, the author reportedly shared that Donald Trump sleeps in the master bedroom of the White House Residence. It was said that this is located on the second level of the residence.

As for Melania Trump, she reportedly occupies the third floor of the residence that comes with two bedrooms. The author also pointed out that this was formerly occupied by Michelle Obama's mother, Marian Robin, during the Obamas stay inside the White House.

While the reported confirmation just recently emerged, it was claimed that this issue actually started even way before their time in Washington. As per reports, the first time that the public heard about the couple's separate bedroom was in 2006 when a former Playboy model, who said that she had an affair with Donald Trump, revealed that she was brought by the then-real estate mogul inside the Trump Tower in New York. She reportedly explained that he showed her "Melania's separate bedroom."

Us Weekly also released a similar report. As claimed, Michael Wolff wrote in his piece, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, that Melania Trump "refuses" to share beds with her husband.

Amid all the controversies, Cheat Sheet cleared out that while this may be true, experts and analysts reportedly said that having separate bedrooms is a "status symbol." It does not necessarily mean a "rocky marriage" if Donald Trump and Melania Trump sleep in separate beds. "It is the ultimate status symbol," and it is a "privilege" since not everyone can afford to have separate bedrooms, the report added.
