Although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared an adorable storytime video of Archie to mark his first birthday early this month, the public still wants more of him. So when Queen Elizabeth noted something about her great-grandson, everyone was interested in it.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl said that a source told her that Queen Elizabeth noticed how similar Archie is to Prince Harry. In a recent video call, Her Majesty, reportedly, saw that the one-year-old has inherited his father's red hair.
Queen Elizabeth has not seen much of Archie since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to Los Angeles after they officially stepped down as senior royals at the end of March. The video call from L.A. to Windsor Castle was one of the rare occasions that Her Majesty saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son over the past year.
The last time Archie was in the UK was in November 2019 before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went to Canada for a six-week break from royal duties. Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to the UK twice after that, the little boy remained in British Columbia with his nanny.
According to Katie Nicholl, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been enjoying their time with baby Archie. She said that the family-of-three is having a “magical time.” "Archie is a happy and sweet baby, full of love and joy, and it's contagious,” she said.
Meanwhile, a lot of royal fans were that Queen Elizabeth and the Royal Family members will not be able to spend more time with Archie. Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal exit, many were waiting for the day to see Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis playing with Archie. But with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son being thousands of miles away, this may seem impossible to happen.
