It looks like Prince Charles is brewing something for the upcoming seventh birthday of his first grandson, Prince George. The birthday of Prince William and Kate Middleton's son will be on July 22. Although it remains to be seen if the lockdown will be lifted at that time, it seems like the Prince of Wales already has plans for it.

When Prince Charles talked about his first visit to the Royal Opera House in an interview with Alan Titchmarsh on Classic FM, he hinted that he would like to take Prince George to the opera. While recalling his childhood memories, it looked like the Prince of Wales wanted his grandson to have the same experience as him.

The Duke of Cornwall first visited the Royal Opera House when he was a kid, Hello! Magazine noted. At the time, his grandmother, the Queen Mother, brought him to see the Bolshoi Ballet perform The Fountain of Bakhchisarai in their U.K. debut tour in 1956.

As a young audience, he could not help but get excited with the music, Tartar dancing, cracking of the whips, leaping in the air, and other unbelievable energetic things that only the Bolshoi could do. From then on, he admitted the opera inspired him.

So, he saw the importance for the grandparents or other grownups to take the kids at about the age of seven to see this kind of art performance. As Prince George is about to celebrate his seventh birthday in July, some believe that his grandfather will take him to an opera for the first time.

According to Express, Prince Charles' love for music might have been shaped by his experience at the opera, thanks to the Queen Mother. He even learned how to play the cello and trumpet at Gordonstoun. He also played cello in the orchestra at Trinity College, Cambridge.

Princess Diana's former husband also loves classical music, and it helped him choose many musical pieces played during Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding in 2011. Talking about his role in his son's marriage, he said that he loved to organize interesting pieces of music for important occasions, like weddings.

Knowing that the Duke of Cambridge is quite understanding, he was happy to let his father suggest some pieces of classical music to play on his wedding day. At the time, Prince Charles wished that he gave people the pleasure to listen to this kind of music. Although it was rather fun to have orchestras in special events like that, suggesting classical music occasionally would never hurt.
