The World of the Married star Han So Hee finally addressed the controversial photos which showed her smoking and bearing tattoos and said that she was unaffected by the negative comments that came out with the leaked photos.

Han So Hee explained that the photos, which were taken four or five years ago, was a part of the person she was. She said that her experiences in the past propelled her to become the person that she was today and she did not regret going through that part of her journey, Kdramastars reported.

The World of the Married star further said that she remained the same person from the time the photos were taken. She said that she tried to meet the expectations of people from a celebrity, her past self helped her in shaping the person she was today.Han So Hee further said that she was very thankful to fans who expressed their support for her amid the criticisms.

It can be recalled that the controversial photos of Han So Hee were released at the height of The World of the Married's popularity. The actress played a young mistress in the show which earned her the ire of loyal viewers for homewrecking the family of Dr. Ji Sun Woo, who was played award-winning actress Kim Hee Ae.

However, despite drawing the ire of viewers with the effective portrayal of her character, Han So Hee also impressed the viewers with her convincing portrayal.

Even Kim Hee Ae gave her glowing reviews and said that she had the potential to shine brighter as an actress.

In an interview, Kim Hee Ae said that she admired her younger co-star's passion for her craft. She said that even though she was young, her acting skills were already very developed, which opened a lot of doors for other challenging roles in her future.

The World of the Married was not the first time that Han So Hee played the role of the third party in a drama series. The actress who debuted in 2016 through SHINEE's music video Tell Me What To Do, starred in Money Flower in 2017, 100 Days My Prince in 2018, and Abyss in 2019.

Meanwhile, Han So Hee's performance in The World of the Married earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a drama by the prestigious Baeksang Art Awards 2020. It is known as the Korean equivalent of the Oscars in the US, Soompi reported.
