Prince Charles' The Prince's Foundation is partnering with some volunteers from Ayrshire in making special garments for the NHS workers, who are serving the frontlines in this coronavirus pandemic.

In a Twitter post, Clarence House confirmed that the heir to the throne's foundation has spearheaded the For The Love of Scrubs program to support the healthcare workers. Under this initiative, communities and manufacturers will be coming together to sew scrubs and face masks that are needed by the nurses, doctors and carers at various hospitals across the U.K.

The first batch of scrubs and face masks will be given to 100 recipients but The Prince's Trust has created a WhatsApp page to take requests. It will also as disseminate the kits that will enable those who know how to sew to lend a helping hand. So far, Big Community Sew is already helping out with its members across the country. The project is also in part supported by the Public Health of England.

Jacqueline Farrell of The Prince's Foundation said that they are delighted to be working with the health agency and Big Community Sew's experts in making the scrubs. The volunteers have also been providing textiles training programs over the phone to those who want to learn the craft while practicing social distancing.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles has also other projects in the works amid this public health crisis. He helped the government promote the Pick for Britain initiative to help farmers come harvest season. He's also working on the Great Reset that will tackle the climate change crisis.

The environment has long been a passion for the Prince of Wales and according to Vanity Fair, Prince Charles will be launching the Great Reset at the annual climate change forum, composed of the world's richest, on June 3. This year, the world's richest will be meeting virtually online as in-person travels to Davos, Switzerland have been canceled.

Reports stated that Prince Charles has been closely working with Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum for the Great Reset. They are setting plans to help the world recover from the pandemic.

The Great Reset will be promoting "old ways of doing things" as economies around the world reopen despite the presence of the virus. Prince Charles apparently wants industries to put people and planet first before profits as they restart their businesses.  He feels that this will be a great opportunity for industries to relearn old techniques as countries move forward in the new normal.
