Caitlyn Jenner's transformation has been an open book. She talked about it in her memoir and also in her TV appearances. But one tabloid continued to insist that Jenner has been planning to have another plastic surgery because of fear that she will "turn into Bruce" again.
It is a fact that the former Olympian had significant work done on her face and body when she transitioned. Caitlyn has been opened about it.
In Touch Magazine, however, published a story about a year ago with "Caitlyn Gets A Bruce Scare!" headline. It alleged that the former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star spent half a million dollars on her face when she transformed Caitlyn.
Jenner was reportedly willing to shed more cash for maintaining her face. The tabloid claimed the reality star was worried that her feminine features are starting to disappear.
Gossip Cop dismissed the story and added that it is offensive for Jenner to be speculated that she wraps up her identity in her looks. The outlet also noted that Jenner's rep also confirmed that the In Touch story was completely fabricated.
In 2015, Jenner announced her gender transition in the Vanity Fair cover. Around that time, it was also revealed that the Olympic medalist had a 10-hour facial feminization surgery. Dr. Harrison Lee, the surgeon in charge of Jenner's facial surgery, told E! News about the process that included a brow lift and reshaping of the jaw bone.
Two years later, she released her autobiography wherein Caitlyn said she had completed gender confirmation surgery. On top of her other surgeries, she also had her Adam's apple flattened in 2014 and underwent a nose job, breast augmentation, tracheal shave, and beard removal as part of her transition.
In an episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here last year, she also talked about the procedure that she had in her face to look more feminine. In the said episode, fellow campmate and TV host Kate Garraway asked Caitlyn about plastic surgery.
Kris Jenner's ex-husband explained that there are distinct differences between female and male facial structure. She particularly mentioned the gap between the nose and lips.
With all of the procedures that Caitlyn had undergone, it seems unlikely that she will even look like Bruce again. Reports have it that instead of having surgery again, Kendal and Kylie's dad has been ensuring to take care of her feminine look with regular facials and with the help of a professional team of stylists and make-up artists.
