A lot of people are intrigued over the relationship of Melania Trump and her stepdaughter, Ivanka Trump. As they only have 11 years age gap, do they have a good relation or are they even friends?
Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump are often seen together, given that they are both working at the White House. Despite the rumors between the two, a body language expert revealed that the First Lady of the United States might have played an important part in her stepdaughter's newfound confidence in her role as a senior political advisor to President Donald Trump.
According to Express, Bruce Durham from Believing Bruce claimed that the presidential daughter could "look to her stepmother for guidance." The former model could also be the 38-year-old businesswoman's "comfort blanket."
From the looks of it, Jared Kushner's wife is gradually gaining confidence in herself and the role she is now playing in the Trump administration. Although there is no evidence that the third wife of his father plays a crucial role in her growth, Durham claimed that she "checks in" quite frequently with the FLOTUS.
He then added that Ivanka Trump uses Melania Trump as her "comfort blanket" whenever she feels outside of her comfort zone. The latter always looks confident in her role as the wife of the president.
Durham continued Melania Trump could hold eye contact, look straight ahead, her limbs look relaxed, and her hands are rarely gripped, forming no protection over her thoracic area. This means that she feels safe, and there is no reason for her to protect herself.
This seems to be the opposite of Ivanka Trump's body language. Durham claimed she looks nervous in her appearance. So, she might have turned to Melania Trump for guidance and reassurances in the past, as she displayed signs of uncertainty.
Since Donald Trump's inauguration in 2017, his wife and daughter started to attend speaking engagements and give their political views. James Bryce, CEO and founder of communications analytics firm gweek, said the two women have "powerful ways" to communicate during their appearances.
When the company analyzed both of the girls' previous speeches, he said that two showed competence and confidence, making them eloquent speakers. Although the way Melania Trump's approach to delivering her speech remains the same, Ivanka Trump is now more confident to do so. Just like Durham's claim, Bryce believed Melania might have helped Ivanka to be confident in her talks.
