Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a very personal and emotional phone call to a Sussex royal fan who raised money for the Archie Day social media campaign. Dani Trin was able to collect $60,000 from generous donors online and the money will go to charities that help victims of coronavirus and their families.

According to Trin, Prince Harry and Meghan reached out to her after she did an interview with Harper's Bazaar about campaign in honor of their son. In that interview, Trin said that she wanted to raise money on Archie Harrison's birthday month last May and course these on projects that are helping out vulnerable children during this pandemic.

The initiative had no specific amount to reach but pretty soon, Trin's call to help raise funds received almost 2,000 responses.  Needless to say, the Sussex royals' fans stepped up and raised a substantial amount.

Trin also revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's team first tried to reach out to her via email. Then they did a Zoom meeting and later received the call from Prince Harry and Meghan, according to The Sun

The fan said that the call was short and direct with Prince Harry and Meghan thanking her for the efforts to raise funds in honor of Archie. Trin said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been "so moved and so happy" for the support.

Trin also said that she didn't want tell the public about the phone call from the royal pair for fear that it will be misreported. But she realizes the call was not just for her but for the rest of those supporting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex thus she decided to tell the public of the conversation.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry also made a special video call to the Invictus Games Foundation. The sports event for injured military veterans was supposed to have taken place this summer in The Hague but the Duke of Sussex decided to cancel it last April due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Instead, Prince Harry talked to the organizers to "share the Invictus spirit" in the recent video call. He said that he hopes everyone has been coping well despite the crisis and indicated that he looks forward to having more conversations with them, while they continue to remain in lockdown.

Prince Harry has been staying in Los Angeles since the pandemic with his wife and son. The couple had several travel plans canceled this summer, including a return to London to be with the royal family.
