A lot of claims have been made about Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper when they did the movie A Star is Born in 2018. Although two years have passed since they worked together, rumors had it the songstress' friends kept her from dating the 45-year-old actor.

Allegedly, Lady Gaga's friends did not want her to date Bradley Cooper. Is there any truth about it? Did they hinder the relationship that the co-stars could have had?

Life & Style alleged that the 34-year-old singer's pals warned her about dating Irina Shayk's former partner. Allegedly, the two grew closer together after his breakup, and they only tried to hide their relationship in public as she did not want to be called a homewrecker.

Hence, her friends advised her not to be "too serious" with the 45-year-old filmmaker, as they were all convinced that he would just break her heart. As they knew their friend really well; they were all aware that she would just jump into the relationship without thinking about its consequences.

Allegedly, Lady Gaga only saw Bradley Cooper's good side. However, having a relationship with him was completely a different story, and that was where he would only know the real him.

An alleged source then claimed that the father-of-one was a player who could be very demanding and challenging to deal with. As he was not the best guy to be in a relationship with, Lady Gaga's friends were not happy about their alleged decision to take their friendship to the next level.

Gossip Cop has debunked this story, claiming none of it was true. Time and over again, it was revealed that Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper never dated. A real source close to the hitmaker even confirmed that the piece written about them was not true at all.

Although it could never be denied that the two had good chemistry on screen, they never had a relationship. The "Rain on Me" singer is now in a relationship with Michael Polansky.

She, too, has shut down the malicious claims about them on numerous occasions. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga revealed that they made a love story and as a performer and actress, she wanted everyone to believe that they were indeed in love, Cheat Sheet noted.

They, too, wanted to make people feel that fake love at the Oscars when they sang "Shallow" together. They intentionally aimed to make that love felt through the lens of the camera and every television.

She went on to say that they both worked hard for it and mapped the whole thing, orchestrated as a performance. So, as everyone believed that there was a relationship brewing between them, Lady Gaga was convinced that she and Bradley Cooper did "a great job."
