ARMYs have seen how close J-Hope is with Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Many even said that he is the link between the Hyung Line and the Maknae Line.
J-Hope also previously shared that the Maknae Line keeps following him around. This only goes to show that Jimin, V, and Jungkook love being around the BTS star and the feeling is definitely mutual.
Being older than Jimin, V, and Jungkook, J-Hope feels a sense of responsibility to take care of them. So when the Maknae Line cries, the “Chicken Noodle Soup” hitmaker confessed that he couldn’t handle it.
In a previous tour, Jungkook was forced to not participate in most of their performances due to his injury. The Golden Maknae had to sit on a stool at the side of the stage while the other BTS members continue with their routines. With JK being passionate about giving his all for ARMYs, he felt lacking at the time and cried on stage and J-Hope felt so sad about it.
“How come I get so sad whenever I see Jungkook cry?” J-Hope said. Jimin then chimed in, “I thought I’m the one who makes you cry,” which the BTS rapper also agreed to. Wanting to get J-Hope’s attention, V then asked, “Hyung, how about me?” to which the “Ego” rapper replied, “When you cry, I’m almost… My entire body will be dried up from crying so much!”
V previously admitted that he tried really hard to get praises from J-Hope. During BTS 2020 FESTA, the boys recreated their very first anniversary. One of their activities was to share their thoughts and feelings regarding the members and certain situations.
V was sitting beside J-Hope and when they were tasked to tell the person on their left what they felt disappointed or sorry to that member, V took it as an opportunity to be completely transparent and confessed that he worked very hard to be praised by J-Hope. He even admitted to feeling bad when the rapper didn’t get what he was trying to do.
Meanwhile, BTS dropped “Map of the Song : 7” on June 10, where unit one Jimin, V, and Jungkook, unit two RM and Jin, and unit three Suga and J-Hope were aiming to win the grand prize, which is a pair of custom Galaxy earbuds, by getting a “7” on their score in the Karaoke.
After all the units performed and got their winnings, nobody picked the grand prize. The staff then decided to give the boys two more chances to draw and V won the custom Galaxy earbuds. But in a shocking turn of events, V gave his grand prize to J-Hope.
