Fans are eagerly anticipating the pre-debut of JYP Entertainment's new Japanese girl group NiziU with their digital single Make You Happy. The much-anticipated debut of NiziU has caused them to become the No. 1 trending topic in Japan even days before they formal launch.

According to a report by All Kpop, JYP announced the conclusion of its Japanese survival show The NiziU Project and finally came out with a final line up for their new Japanese girl group.

After a rigorous elimination process, the nine final members of NiziU included Ayaka, Rio, Mayuka, Riku, Mako, Mihii, Nina, Maya, & Rima. They will release their pre-debut digital single Make You Happy on June 30.

They are scheduled to debut in Japan and Korea this fall but  they are expected to expand to global promotions because members are fluent in Japanese, Korean, and English. The members were recently spotted in Korea, leading many fans to believe that they are going to debut in Korea soon.

Before the conclusion of the Nizi Project, JYP Entertainment and Sony Music also encountered come controversy after Japanese people questioned the motive behind a Korean agency developing a Japanese girl group, Kbizoom reported.

It can be recalled that before JYP CEO Park Jin Young partnered with Sony Music's Muramatsu Shansuke for the project, he already talked about his agency's three stages of globalization program wherein instead of simply exporting Korean talents to different countries, JYP would be involved in developing local homegrown talents as well.

JYP's main girl group TWICE, which has three Japanese members - Momo, Sana, and Mina, as well as a Taiwanese member Tzuyu, has been enjoying tremendous success on the world stage, selling out arenas both in Korea, in North America and Europe as well.

They recently broke Mariah Carey and Madonna's record on the Japanese Oricon Chart for having the most albums at No. 1 with their recent comeback More and More. TWICE also broke their record for the fastest MV to reach 100 million views when More and More achieved the feat in only 12 days and 22 hours.

Meanwhile, TWICE is gearing to bank on the success of More and More with a new Japanese single entitled Fanfare. This will be the group's sixth Japanese song. The song is set to be released on July 8 and is expected to tap into the group's unique brand of energy and charm, All Kpop reported.

JYP Entertainment is no doubt to replicate the success of TWICE with NiziU.
