The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been off the air as of late. With several issues surrounding its host, Ellen DeGeneres, there are rumors that the long-running comedy talk show has been canceled.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show is believed to be finished, after being off the air for over three weeks. As this news comes after a rash of negative stories about Ellen DeGeneres emerged online, is there any connection?

The New York Post tried to reach out to the show's producers, and Telepictures confirmed it wasn't true. However, fans couldn't help but think that it was already canceled due to the stories about the 62-year-old comedian's real attitude and behavior, which seemed to be a total opposite of what she's trying to portray.

Allegedly, Portia de Rossi's spouse told a waitress manager about her chipped nail polish, Celebrity Insider noted. Also, a former bodyguard revealed he was badly treated, "less than a human," by the famed talk show host. By the looks of it, her kind and clean image were ruined in an instant.

To add fuel to the fire, The Ellen DeGeneres Show's former staff, who used to do the live episodes, aired their complaints when Ellen DeGeneres hired other people to do the work-from-home episodes. In a report made by Variety, her staff felt they were "left in the dark" after their employment and payment status remained in question for more than two weeks.

Although they received calls from Telepictures, the Warner Bros. unit that produces the show, it was irregular. It also lacked information about their status. Things became more complicated when the millionaire host started to do five shows a week, which was shot for over two days.

The radio silence caused too much worry among the The Ellen DeGeneres Show's employees, thinking they would be furloughed. If it happens, they need to "explore their unemployment benefits."

The show's ratings, reportedly, fell 14%. According to CosmopolitanThe Ellen DeGeneres Show is now behind Dr. Phil. The allegations about the Finding Dory star being rude to her staff members might have something to do with the fallout, but it didn't mean that the show would be canceled.

Although Ellen DeGeneres has yet to talk about the issue, it may be taking its toll on her. A source told Us Weekly that she's "high-key spiralling now" after people were coming forward to talk about her alleged "dark side."

She is said to be at the "end of her rope." When Ellen DeGeneres thought it was all just "sour grapes" from her haters, it just kept on coming.
