Tom Cruise has been rumored planning to leave America for good and relocate to the U.K. A tabloid claimed the Mission: Impossible actor got tired of the stressful living in Los Angeles so he decided to move somewhere else.

According to a new article published by Life & Style, Cruise is now on house hunting in London after being in quarantine at the British Scientology headquarters in the country. The tabloid claimed the actor stayed at the church's Saint Hill Manor after the production of Mission: Impossible 7 was shut down in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, Cruise is, allegedly, looking for a house where he can stay permanently.

A source of the tabloid claimed the Jack Reacher actor feels like he is being treated better in the U.K. than in the U.S. Cruise is, allegedly, tired of all the negative stories especially about his personal life.

The actor, allegedly, wants a quieter and simpler life now that he is already 58 years old. Cruise is, reportedly, not missing Los Angeles as he finally found a place that he can call home and that is London.

Gossip Cop pointed out that Cruise already owns a home in London but not discounting a possibility that the actor could be looking for another property in the United Kingdom. However, the publication noted that there is no evidence to prove that the actor plans to move to the U.K. and leave Hollywood for good. Cruise's official residence remains in Clearwater, Florida where he currently resides.

Gossip Cop added that Life & Style wasn't exactly accurate on its reporting about the Top Gun actor. Earlier this year, it claimed that Cruise wanted to cast Megan Markle in one of his upcoming films. Gossip Cop checked in to its source close to Tom, who denied the rumored project between Katie Holmes' ex-husband and the Duchess of Sussex.

At the moment what is certain about Cruise is that he is about to resume filming for M:I 7. The U.K. government already gave a green light and ceased its restrictions for movie and TV production in the country.

It also published the guidance that would allow essential movie and TV show cast and crew to travel to the U.K. without having to quarantine for 14 days. There were also reports that the country's Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden told Cruise that he can already resume filming Mission: Impossible 7 and 8, which are being shot at the Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in Hertfordshire.

Assistant director Tommy Gormley and Tom Cruise's co-star Simon Pegg earlier confirmed that M:I 7 might resume filming in September. Gormley was also optimistic that they would be able to meet their target end by April or May 2021 if they could get back to work soon.
