BTS is arguably the biggest boy group on the planet right now. Despite the coronavirus outbreak, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s popularity is still on the rise.

But just because BTS has already achieved the superstardom status, that does not mean that fame and fortune have changed them. Recently, Jin proved this fact even more.

On July 7, BTS’s official YouTube channel uploaded a new video “BTS Highlight Clip” for their radio show FM 06.13. To celebrate their seventh anniversary, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook read ARMYs’ messages and acted out The Wizard of Oz.

The BTS boys tried their very best to give justice to the characters assigned to them. However, they also made sure to have fun while doing their voice acting gig.

Jin is known for his love of wordplay. So towards the end of the show, Mr. Worldwide Handsome attempted to make a wordplay from the word “anniversary.” His poem made the other BTS boys laugh, and the extra attention led to the “Moon” singer getting bashful.

Suga then told their listeners that Jin turned red. Jin then playfully rejected the double standards for celebrity, pointing out that even the brightest stars are humans, too. “Can’t celebrities turn red too? That’s so unfair,” the BTS star said in his usual argumentative voice.

This is not the first time that Jin demanded fair game. The 27-year-old singer and songwriter hasn’t lost his “broke rookie” mindset despite being a multi-millionaire now. Mr. Worldwide Handsome previously shared that he likes getting free stuff.

“I got outfits for free, as a gift. Why not? You can’t ask for free stuff when you’re rich? I didn’t ask for it. They gave them as a gift,” the BTS star previously shared in one of his live broadcasts.

Jin is estimated to have a net worth of around $8 million, which means that he is far from having a financial crisis. However, Mr. Worldwide Handsome is just as frugal-minded now as he was back then when BTS was still trying to climb the K-pop ladder.

During their rookie days, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all crammed up in a tiny dorm and had a limited amount of cash. Now, the BTS boys are living in the luxurious Hannam The Hill complex. They are also wealthy enough to purchase their own apartments, and the group has an estimated net worth of $40 million to $60 million combined.
