Kanye West reiterated that he is serious about his plan to run for president in the upcoming presidential elections in November. As he confirmed his presidential bid, he also named his running mate. It's self-proclaimed "biblical life coach" Michelle Tidball, who previously shared her odd ideas on how to treat mental illness.

In his recent interview with Forbes Magazine, West officially turned his back on Donald Trump. The rapper has been a staunch supporter of Trump. He even paid a visit to the president at the White House with his wife, Kim Kardashian.

Kanye told Forbes that he is taking the red hat off as a sign that he no longer supports POTUS. The rapper referred to the infamous red "Make America Great Again" hat of Trump.

In the four-hour interview with Kanye, he was asked a bunch of questions from various topics. Then he was asked who would be his running mate under his Birthday Party. The Jesus Is King singer revealed that it will be Michelle Tidball, an obscure preacher from Wyoming.

Following the Forbes' interview, TMZ released an audio clip of Tidball from June 2017 wherein she talked about the key to handling mental illness. The clip has been deleted from her Yarash.org website but obtained by the outlet.

In the audio recording, Tidball said a mentally ill person should get up every day and make his bed and dishes to feel better. She added that in her decade-long experience in working with mentally ill people, none of them made their beds or did their dishes.

Tidball earned a B.A. in Psychology in 2003 from the University of Wyoming. She also claimed to have various degrees in mental health and criminal justice.

Kanye's announcement about Tidball as his vice-president pick came as a surprise just like his Fourth of July pronouncement. The rapper never mentioned that he knows Tidball. Many speculate that the two could have met in Cody, Wyoming where West has been spending much of his time because he has a ranch there.

Many noted that the tandem would be interesting to follow in the coming months, given their respective background and history. It can be recalled that in June 2018, Kanye revealed that at age 39 he was diagnosed with a "mental condition" but he said it wasn't a disability but rather a superpower.

Meanwhile, Kanye West also told Forbes that he just registered to vote this week in Cody. He also revealed that this is his first time to get registered as a voter.
