Meghan Markle is now giving more powerful speeches as she is no longer "bound by the constraints" of the Royal Family, a royal expert has claimed, adding that Prince Harry's wife can now speak straight from her heart.

Omid Scobie, who co-wrote the Sussexes' upcoming biography Finding Freedom, opined that what people saw at the Girls Up Summit last week was the real Meghan. On the Heirpod podcast, Scobie, the royal editor at large for Harper's Bazaar, said the Duchess of Sussex could now talk without constraints of the things she had to keep in mind as a senior member of the Royal Family.

According to The Sun, he believed it took the former actress a long while to prepare for her female empowerment speech. Scobie explained that the Royal Family would usually read from "very tight scripts" when delivering addresses.

However, he said Meghan only "had bullet points" for her speech. Instead of using a script, she spoke from her heart, making her address "a little punchier" compared with her past speeches.

In her talk, the former Suits star claimed people "do not listen until they have to." She advised viewers to keep challenging and pushing, and make those in power  "a little uncomfortable." She also suggested everyone not be afraid of what they think is right even if it is not the "popular" thing to do.

Scobie insisted that royal fans could see more "punchy" speeches from Meghan in the future. She might tackle such topics as gender equity, racial injustice, and youth empowerment.

Scobie also said that it was a great preview of Meghan and her future speaking engagements. The Daily Mail noted her previous speech was the latest in the "series of public steps" Prince Harry and his wife had taken as they now put the focus of their royal works on racial equality and social justice.

Last month, news emerged that the Duke of Sussex and Meghan could earn over a million pounds every time they make a speaking engagement after they signed with the exclusive Harry Walker Agency. This company represents high-profile speakers, like the Obamas and Clintons.

According to the LA Times, Meghan and Harry plan to talk about social issues, like racial justice, gender equality, the environment, and mental health. This will be Prince Harry and Meghan's first career move since they left the UK and relocated to Los Angeles. Their future speaking engagements are believed to be a lucrative activity for the couple, who are aiming for financial independence since leaving the monarchy.
