The first excerpt from Finding Freedom revealed Meghan Markle, allegedly, told a friend that she "gave up" her entire life for the Royal Family, but it seemed to be gone to waste. The controversial biography writers Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand revealed Prince Harry's wife made a huge effort for the family but looked where it brought her now.

According to The Sunday Times, Meghan told a pal that she was willing to do whatever it takes for the family. However, it resulted in a sad ending.

The excerpt, also, contained the allegations that the Duchess of Sussex was the one behind the Sussexes' decision to step down as fulltime working senior royals. A source said the courtiers and even some family members, allegedly, blamed the former actress for the Megxit.

However, Scobie and Durand tried to clarify that Prince Harry was also part of the decision. They said the Duke of Sussex was very much on board with their choice to step back from the monarchy. Despite the British media's endless blame to his wife, they both wanted to distance themselves from the public eye.

It was said to be the reason why he "gravitated toward the military." He tried his best to be out of the spotlight and did not also give his son, Archie, a title. The book claimed he had been longing to be away from the media's prying eyes.

Meghan's only role was to encourage her husband to make the change by supporting him no matter what the situation was. An insider close to the couple explained it was, basically, Prince Harry who wanted to be out. The tipster even revealed he "was always struggling" as a senior member of the Royal Family, and his wife only "opened the door" for him to decide what to do.

Meanwhile, according to The Sun, a palace insider named Prince Harry and Meghan "professional victims." The tipster seemed to mock the pair by saying "nothing was ever their fault" after they, allegedly, whined they were victims of "merciless machines" of aides and courtiers, who were imbued in tradition.

The ex-staff member explained being part of the Royal Family was a "very challenging working environment" with "high pressure and extremely stressful." However, they only saw "the negative in everything."

Allegedly, nothing was good enough for Prince Harry and Meghan. It was always someone else's fault and it made them looked like "professional victims."
