Prince Harry, recently, responded to the Republic's "complaint," which claims that the Sussex Royal and the Royal Foundation may have likely utilized their charitable funds "incorrectly." While the request for the investigation also involves Prince William and Kate Middleton, they responded through a statement from the organization.

As reported, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a short statement from the Royal Foundation stating that the "donations" were "in line with governance requirements." On the other hand, the Duke of Sussex's response has shocked a lot of people, including royal experts and commentators, according to the Daily Express.

The royal-born Prince, who recently exited the royal life, reportedly, released his response through lawyers. Although his camp has promised to deal with the complaint using the "weight of the law," he, reportedly, took offense to the accusations.

As stated, the claims are "deeply offensive" for the Duke of Sussex and his charitable work. It is "defamatory" and "insulting," the reports added.

Following Prince William and Prince Harry's responses over the accusations, royal experts shared their thoughts on the matter. Royal commentator Hannah Furness, reportedly, noted in The Telegraph that the whole debacle is "not very scandalous" on its own. But, with the Duke of Sussex's defense, it gives the impression of "personal hurt," she added.

Some even, reportedly, believe that he has "helped" the Republic's PR. The anti-monarchists "could not have hoped for better publicity," the experts explained.

The group's CEO, Graham Smith, went on to share his side to the same publication, the Daily Express reported. He, allegedly, said that the response of Prince Harry seemed "a bit of an overreaction." In the end, he said that the statements from the Sussex's camp revealed "legitimate concerns."

The publication then seemingly made a comparison between the royal siblings based on their responses. As recalled, Prince William faced a similar situation in the past, wherein he faced a "republican."

The Duke of Cambridge has, reportedly, shown a "more relaxed" approach in these kinds of matters than his brother, the Duke of Sussex. As explained, he had an interview with the former Labour spin doctor Alastair Campbell in 2017 for GQ.

During the discussion, Campbell, reportedly, asked the future King of the United Kingdom about what he is doing with him, who is an "old leftie republican." The royal-born Prince deemed the question a "very good" one, and laughed, as per reports.

Prince William, then, responded that he does not care where people from. He, allegedly, explained he just likes to meet and talk to people "from all backgrounds." He added that the interview is a very "great opportunity" to talk about something that is close to both of their hearts.
