Tomorrow X Together (TXT)'s original Japanese song has been chosen as the opening theme song of the hit anime series Black Clover.

According to a report by All Kpop, TXT's Japanese song Everlasting Shine was chosen as the opening theme for Black Clover's new season, which will be aired on September 1.

Everlasting Shine is also TXT's first original Japanese single, making its selection as a major achievement for the rookie boy group.

Black Clover is one of the most popular anime adaptations from a manga which revolves around two adoptive brothers Asta and Yuno, who strive to become the wizard king in the world that centers around magic.

Everlasting Shine is one of the tracks for TXT's second Japanese album entitled DRAMA, which will carry three tracks. The album will, also, feature the title track DRAMA, along with the Japanese version of their Korean song Can't You See Me? from their The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY album.

TXT's DRAMA album will come out on August 19 in Japan. It recently created a buzz because of its anime theme. Some observers commented that the promotional images took on its concept from another anime, Haikyu with TXT's volleyball uniforms.

According to some fans, the Haikyu theme was likely to happen because Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Si Hyuk has been reading the manga since 2016. Haikyu, recently, concluded its eight-year run after 402 episodes on the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Meanwhile, the series is also preparing for the second half of the fourth season which will be released this October.

TXT's association with manga has been well received by Japanese fans. The group's Japanese debut single MAGIC Hour received a gold certification by the Recording Association of Japan (RIAJ) after it sold over 100,000 copies.

TXT's Japanese version of Run Away also charted the record of spending 75 hours at No. 1 of Line Music Realtime Chart, the most amount of time any boy group on the chart. The record was later surpassed by their Big Hit labelmates and seniors BTS with their single, Your Eyes Tell.

TXT is making waves not only in Japan but in other parts of the world as well. They, recently, became the first Kpop artists to be featured on the cover of Teen Vogue magazine where members Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai shared their thoughts about the future of their group and their music.
