Greenleaf season 5, episode 7 "The Seventh Day" arrives this week on OWN. This is the last episode before the series finale and we're going to see the Greenleaf family moving in an unexpected direction. The Calvary's fate is in question - so can they keep it from being destroyed?
In "The Seventh Day" the battle between the family and Harmony and Hope becomes even more intense and none of them are willing to back down. Grace is doing whatever she can to fight for what they have and to stop the demolition from happening.
Lady Mae, on the other hand, is trying to negotiate for the mansion. However, a sudden revelation about the original owner prompted Bishop to reveal something about him, as well. This episode could give us more insight into what lies ahead for the Greenleaf family.
We've seen them throughout the season trying to save the Calvary and going head to head with Harmony and Hope. Although some unexpected secrets have been revealed the family is still doing its best to save the church and stop Bob Whitmore.
Meanwhile, Greenleaf season 5 episode 7 could further explore what happened to Darius. At the end of the previous episode, Grace seeks him out - since he seemed to have evidence to take down Bob. The two have been working through most of the season to stop Harmony and Hope from destroying Calvary.
But when Darius was about to reveal to Grace that Bob's days as a freeman are over, he suddenly goes missing. Grace couldn't find him, but she saw Fernando outside Darius' place and he used power to threaten and intimidate her.
It seems like something bad happened to Darius and the main suspects in his disappearance are Fernando and Bob. This cliffhanger will further be explored in this week's episode. We will find out if he's alive or not.
Since the episode didn't show a corpse we can probably expect him to appear at some point. Perhaps, he is holding important evidence that could stop Bob once and for all. Also, Darius's storyline seemed to overshadow Lady Mae coming clean about Grace not being a biological daughter or Bishop.
