Britney Spears plans to release an "explosive and disturbing" tell-all book or give an interview detailing her conservatorship.

The 38-year-old star has been quiet about the issue and the #FreeBritney campaign online. According to Mirror Online, it is because she is set to reveal everything about her conservatorship in the book or a sit-down

Britney's conservatorship started after her public breakdown and divorce from Kevin Federline in 2008. Since then, her father, James Spears, and temporary conservator Jodi Montgomery, have been handling her personal affairs.

The Princess of Pop wants to dump the contract which controls her finances and even her life choices. Her social media followers believe her cryptic Instagram posts are her way of asking for help.

A source told Heat that Spears is ready to break her silence over the issue and give a tell-all interview.

Spears, reportedly, wants to show people she is not "cooped-up and a "controlled robot" who cannot speak for herself. As her conservatorship is currently under review, she doesn't want to remain silent.

The insider said the logistics of writing a book and having it legally approved for publication are "complicated." So, Spears is confident a tell-all chat or a sit-down podcast will help.

The hitmaker has kept "meticulous notes" of her experiences throughout the years. She is also said to have hand-written diaries.

Meanwhile, Bustle noted that her father had permanently stepped down as his daughter's conservator last year. In a rare interview, he called fans on the #FreeBritney movement "conspiracy theorists."

He told Page Six that no one had a clue about what was going on with his family. He called the online movement a "joke" and that the "conspiracy theorists" knew nothing. It is now up to a California court to decide what is best for Spears and it is "no one else's business."
